With a mix of traditional Moroccan arquitecture, design and modern technology our stunning Riad Hostel is situated in the exciting Medina of Fes with easy access for taxis and car parking in a safe neighbourhood, close to Batha Fountain. The views from the roof terraces are simply mind blowing and you can seethe way to the Merenid Tombs.

All rooms have reversible AC Heating and the wifi is fibre optic and very fast. The Riad is social and busy and predominantly caters for under 40s - the vibe is fun, upbeat and we regularly hold events and activities. Noise carries in the Riad old building so we are not suitable if you are looking for a silent retreat or are a mature family with children.

Riad Verus also regularly serves a family dinner forthe guests to come together on the roof top terrace with views of the Medina and in Winter in the traditional arabesque courtyard. In the evenings the guests enjoy playing cards or board games or smoking a sheisha in the terrace lounge areas.

We have 8 bedrooms in total and 3 of them are dorms. The fine print details tourism restrictions for unmarried couples (where one or both is muslim) and dorms are exclusively for international tourists in order to comply with the law. If you are muslim you will need to present your marriage certificate; If you are both not muslim this rule does not apply to you.

Moroccans or Algerians due to the strict hospitality laws of cosharing rooms are prohibited from booking this property.guests must provide their working whatsapp number and correct postal code and nationality of the passport entering Morocco andreservations will be authorised before arrival, if you fail the check the reservation will be cancelled.

The hotel day starts from hour 15:00 and ends at 12:00.

In accordance with Moroccan law, nationals from Muslim countries CAN NOT stay in the same bedroom as the opposite sex so IF you have booked a bed in a dorm you will need to cancel it immediately. Additionally, marriage papers are required for nationals from Muslim countries to stay in private rooms with someone of the opposite sex. No exceptions.

Average age in hostel is 21-40 years old.

There is no elevator inside the building, the stairs can be quite steep.

3 Euros tax per person per night is charged on your booking as a supplement above 2 years old.

Please note that for guests arriving between 00:00-08:30 there will be an additional charge of 10 Euros per person payable in cash to the member of staff waiting up for you and your arrival time must be notified to us by email, thank you.

Guests are required to show a photo identification and credit card upon check-in. Please note thatSpecial Requests are subject to availability and additional charges may apply.
Payment before arrival via bank transfer is required. The property will contact you after you book to provide instructions.
Guests under the age of 18 can only check in with a parent or official guardian.

Standard Twin Room. This twin bedded ensuite room with a small bathtub is located on our mezzanine level close to the office. The room has a small window and is interior so it is quiet and cosy. There is tile flooring and also an AC Heating unit. ;
Double Room with Balcony. This spacious room has a double bed and also a lounge area which for a supplement can be made2 additional beds, there is tile flooring and an AC Heating unit. The room also has a balcony, separate stair case and a small shower bathroom inside the room. Note that the room is the same as the Quadruple ensuite so please do not book both rooms. ;
Bed in 10-Bed Mixed Dormitory Room. This dormitory has 5 bunkbeds with a capacity of 10 people and there is a shower bathroom inside the dorm with 2 showers, there are under bed lockers so do bring a padlock. The room is on the 3rd floor and there is no elevator. The room also has tile flooring and an AC Heating unit. ;
Small Twin Room. This twin room has one bunkbed and is ensuite with a small shower room inside the room. The room is interior and has an AC Heating unit. ;
Single Bed in Mixed Dormitory Room. This dorm is a mixed sex dormitory aswell and has a tile floor. The dorm is ensuite with a nice shower and there are 2 bunks and 3 single beds. The room comes off the courtyard and there is an AC Heating unit. There are small lockers so do bring padlocks. ;
Single Bed in 4-Bed Dormitory Room. This is a dormitory bedroom non ensuite and the small shower bathroom is outside the bedroom sharing with one other bedroom. The room leads off the courtyard and there are 2 single beds and one bunk bed. Small lockers in the room, must bring a padlock and there is an AC Heating unit. ;
Deluxe Double Room with Balcony. This large double room with a lounge seating area has a AC Heating unit and a tile floor. The large bathoom has a wet-shower walkin. ;
Budget Double Room. This small recently renovated double room has a tile floor and an AC Heating unit. The room does not have a bathroom inside the room and shares a small shower room with another bedroom downstairs, there is however a wash room on the corridor of the bedroom. ;
Standard King Room. The double room features air conditioning, a seating area, a balcony with ancourtyard view as well as a private bathroom boasting a walk-in shower. The unit has 1 bed.
